CAMERON, Donald (D.J.) – RSM (Ret.) Donald (D.J.) Cameron, SD & G Highlanders, at Cornwall Hospice on Saturday November 11, 2017 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of 53 years to Trudy (née Leroux) Cameron. Loving father of Alison Henderson (Dennis) and Kevin Cameron (Natalie). Sadly missed by his 3 grandchildren Cameron Pickard, Alexandra and Abbie Cameron. Loved son of the late Robert and Yvonne (née Fortin) Cameron. Dear brother of Carol Cameron, Sharon Breyer, Patricia Legault, Robin, Martin (Shannon) and Marvin (Irene). Predeceased by his brothers Barry and Dale; his Father and Mother-in-law Clarence and Anna Leroux. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. As a former parade commander and proud veteran, it is fitting that D.J. passed away on Remembrance Day. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Wednesday from 7-9 PM and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church on Friday November 17, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal at a later date in Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall.
