BGen (retd) Mike Webber will celebrate his 98th birthday on 29 January. He is healthy, “sharp as a tack” and still living at home in Ottawa. You may recall that General Mike had a most distinguished career in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals. He was a Major at the end of WWII and served as CO 1 Canadian Division HQ and Sig Regt, Director of Signals, Colonel of the Regiment and one of the first Colonel Commandant’s of the C&E Branch . The C&E Association is collecting messages and Birthday Wishes to be presented to General Mike on his birthday to make this a special day. If you have been acquainted with this fine “officer and a gentleman” please take the time to send birthday wishes with a short email message perhaps recalling a memory that might complete the sentence " General Mike, I remember the time that ....." ?
